Basic Needs
Community Bridge helps people reach food, clothing, emergency assistance, and other essential support. We do not have to operate a food bank to help someone access food. We connect people with aid that already exists and offer targeted assistance when resources allow.
Community Bridge is not an emergency or crisis-response service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. For mental-health or suicide crisis support in the United States, call or text 988.
Who this program is for
- Individuals and families facing a food, clothing, or emergency need
- People who need a referral to a food bank or aid organization
- Neighbors who are not sure which basic-needs program they qualify for
- Churches and volunteers supporting community outreach
What help may be available

How the process works
Step 1
Tell us the need and your timing
Food today, a clothing referral, or a short-term emergency are different paths. Timing helps us respond appropriately.
Step 2
We point you to the closest real option
That is often an existing pantry, agency, or church program, with the hours and intake steps explained.
Step 3
We add direct help only when we can
If Community Bridge has resources designated for the need, we say so. If we do not, we still help you reach someone who might.
What Community Bridge does
- Navigation to food, clothing, and emergency resources
- Outreach alongside churches and community partners
- Targeted assistance when designated resources are available
Important limits
- Community Bridge is not a 24/7 shelter, pantry, or emergency-response agency.
- If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
- Direct assistance depends on current resources and is not guaranteed with every request.
