Mission stewardship

Community Bridge Columbia connects people with practical help, digital access, professional counseling and wellness resources, Christian spiritual support, educational opportunity, and community resources so they can move toward stability, opportunity, and greater independence.

Community Bridge Columbia is governed by a board of directors. The board oversees the charitable mission, finances, and accountability. The board governs. Staff, as they are employed, operate the programs. Planned roles are not listed as current employees.

Financial accountability

Community Bridge Columbia has its own charitable mission, governance, finances, and accountability. Gifts are recorded for Community Bridge and are not treated as revenue for ModernChurchOS.

Conflict-of-interest practices

Board members and staff are expected to disclose conflicts of interest and to step aside from decisions where a personal interest could interfere with Community Bridge’s charitable mission. A written conflict-of-interest policy will be linked here when the board adopts one for public posting.

Relationship with ModernChurchOS

Community Bridge Columbia grew from the community-impact vision behind ModernChurchOS. While the organizations share a commitment to strengthening churches and communities, Community Bridge Columbia operates with its own charitable mission, governance, finances, and accountability.

ModernChurchOS may support, sponsor, or present certain initiatives, but donations made to Community Bridge support Community Bridge’s nonprofit mission and should not be treated as revenue for ModernChurchOS.

Donation stewardship

Choose a preferred area of support. This guides how Community Bridge stewards gifts. It is not, by itself, a legally restricted fund.

• Where Needed Most. Gives Community Bridge flexibility to respond where the need and the gap are greatest.
• Professional Counseling Assistance. Helps reduce the cost of professional counseling for students and community members when funding allows.
• Students & Scholarships. Supports scholarships, small educational grants, and emergency student assistance when funds are available.
• Digital Access. Helps people complete online applications, forms, and job searches, and helps qualifying community groups get online.
• Resource Navigation. Supports the time it takes to help someone find, understand, and move through available help.
• Basic Needs & Emergency Assistance. Supports food connections, emergency help, and practical assistance for essential needs.
• Christian Spiritual Care & Outreach. Supports prayer, encouragement, mentoring, and connections with trusted ministry partners.

Ordinary donations on the giving page do not include event tickets, meals, or merchandise. No goods or services are provided in exchange for those contributions. Prayer breakfast tickets, sponsorships, and additional charitable gifts are recorded separately, and a ticket is not automatically fully tax-deductible.
